Resource Fair

The Commission launched a program to bring state/federal resources to various Asian-centric communities throughout Massachusetts. Representatives from various agencies will be available to provide information on their services and to answer questions. Bilingual speakers will be onsite to help with translations. Commissioners will be present to greet you and to bring issues that you may have to our elected officials.

Our first appearance was at Quincy's Lunar New Year Festival hosted by Quincy Asian Resources, Inc. on Feb. 12, 2012. Upcoming appearances are Chinatown August Moon Festival and Lowell's Water Festival in the fall of 2012.

Agencies that were present:
Department of Telecommunication and Cable
Equal Employment Opportunity Commission
Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation
US Citizenship and Immigration Services
Massachusetts Council on Compulsive Gambling
Department of Public Health
