The AAC is hiring 2 part time coordinator positions. Please find the descriptions below.
This opening provides a great opportunity to join a group of people that represents the interests of Asian Americans throughout the Commonwealth and is dedicated to advocacy on behalf of Asian Americans throughout Massachusetts.
Western MA – Hampden/Hampshire County
Western MA Community Engagement Coordinator
The AAC’s internship program aims to provide Master’s and upper-level undergraduate students with meaningful professional experience to strengthen and enhance their academic experience; to provide the Commission with talented students able to carry out a vast array of projects and tasks; and to build stronger ties between and among the communities, the Commission, and the world of academia.
The Commission will support a student intern by providing an educationally rewarding internship where the student is doing work that is related to planning practice, research and analysis, and communication in the environment of a small state agency working to advocate on behalf of all Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPI).
We welcome you to apply to become a Commissioner. The application period is August 1st to September 16th of every year. Even if you submitted an application and was not selected in the previous years, you must resubmit it to be considered. Please note that appointments are determined by the appointing offices and not by the Commission.
Please see our membership page for more information.
