The Asian American Commission (AAC) of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is pleased to announce that this year’s Health Care Summit will feature a talk by Dr. Howard Koh on the state of Asian American and Pacific Islander health issues and disparities. Dr. Howard K. Koh is the Harvey V. Fineberg Professor of the Practice of Public Health Leadership at the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health and the Harvard Kennedy School. He is also Co-Chair of the Harvard Advanced Leadership Initiative as well as Director of the Leading Change Studio at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. From 2009-2014, Dr. Koh served as the 14th Assistant Secretary for Health for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), after being nominated by President Barack Obama and being confirmed by the U.S. Senate.
The AAC wishes to thank The Boston Foundation for graciously offering the use of their space for this occasion.

Dr. Koh spoke eloquently about healthcare issues and disparities in the AAPI population, and kept the “full house” audience completely engaged before, during, and after his terrific talk!
Much gratitude to The Boston Foundation (and Chief of Staff Stephen Chan) for the gracious use of its conference room space, and for the supportive collaboration to make this evening’s “Conversation With Dr. Howard Koh” such a success.
