Supporting Lowell

Today, July 10, 2015, marks the 1 year memorial of the Branch Street fire in Lowell, MA. It was the deadliest fire in MA in 20 years, leading to the deaths of 4 adults and 3 children, with numerous other individuals losing their homes. The Cambodian and Southeast Asian community in Lowell was particularly affected.

Passing along condolences and sympathies to the Lowell, MA community members who suffered losses from this tragedy.

Special recognition goes out to the Cambodian Mutual Assistance Association, the City of Lowell, Mayor Rodney M. Elliott, Glory Buddhist Temple, Lowell Police Department, Elected Officials, and community members for organizing a beautiful moving memorial service.
